anysia: (Sleeping Kitty)
I caught Wing 's cold/flu, and it was really hammering me. I swear that even my hair hurt. A dry hacking cough caused by a throat tickle for 2 solid days have left my ribs extremely sore, to the point I wondered if you could break a rib coughing.

Yesterday, I had actually felt worse than I did the day before. Lethargic, feverish, pain. The day before, I had tried the sleep a lot but ended up tossing and turning, not very restful at all. So, yesterday, I stayed up until I just couldn't keep my eyes open, took a nap about 4pm, back up at 6pm. Ate a very small meal, and then back to bed. I slept through most of the night.

Got up this morning, feeling weak as a kitten, but not so lethargic, not trying to hack a lung across the room, and the fever appears to be gone now. Ribs still sore as all get out, but since I'm not coughing as much, it's more an annoyance now.

Still not too eager to meet edibles, though.

I had taken the hamburger/beef mince out of the freezer early this morning. I wanted to start making my 3 burner Chili for dinner. I went out at 1pm, thinking the hamburger would be defrosted. *sigh* Nope, you can hammer nails into a wall with it. So, I guess it's not just me being cold, and that it's actually cold in the house.

So, have to decide what will be on the dinner menu tonight, as I don't like using microwave to defrost hamburger.

Was the meat locker chill of stone floors, and brick walls. *shiver*

I really liked not being sequestered to one room to stay warm.

I want warm! Aikidomayland said I must have been a lizard in a previous incarnation.

I'm cold

With the heavy rain, the debris from tree removal was clogging the drains. I have spent the past hour slogging around back and forth in ankle deep cold water clearing the drain grills.

Cold now. *shiver*

Ok, now as much as I still haven't gotten used to "December" and "Summer" being synonymous, I was enjoying the warming trend.

For the past week, the warm has slid back into damp, dank and chilly. This will not do.

So.. fess up. Who took the 'warm'?
anysia: (RAWR!)
Someone else in the house thinks it's cold and damp. It's not just my wussy imagination! )
