The bright spark that
gave an 82 yr old woman a $114 ticket for not making across a 5 lane road that even 14 yr old kids have trouble running from one side to the other before the crossing light turns red. What a guy, and what makes this worse, is he boss backs up this stupidity. I hope Karma comes up and bites these bozos on the ass. (I'd bet these cops would get really really angry if some stooge gave their grandma a ticket for not being an Olympic sprinter.)
ETA The officer didn't say she was illegally crossing but that her slowness was 'obstructing the flow traffic'.
EDITAnother article about the Granny being busted for not walking fast enoughSeems she did enter when it was green, but 20 seconds just isn't enough time to cross 5 lanes of traffic, unless you can run.
