Aug. 16th, 2005 02:30 pmRunning into people that did you dirt, or sat idly by and watched people steamroll you, going up to them with a nice smile and gush "Hiiii how are you!!!" The look of 'deer caught in headlights' look is so funny. Especially the nicer you are. Then there is the bragging discussing of how well you are doing in spite of previous attempts at sandbagging.
And the offhand dismissal of the person going on and on about someone else. I summed it up beautifully. "I got myself a wonderful Equatorial mount, dual axis motor drive telescope, and that will last for a long time. 3 hours or so with so and so..*shrug* I can live without it." Found out again that A.C. is still managing to squeeze in people who she considers worthies, or no threat to her. No suprise, really, but I feel sorry for her, I truly do.
