Spent the day with Wing , and not running around crazy trying to get dozens of things done. Had leisurely wake up.. sort of. Loki , as usual, wanted someone up to feed me, and I was the designated human.

So, lateish breakfast, and then we headed off to "The Maze". It was a lot of fun. We just did the one big wooden maze, but it took a lot longer to get out than either of us thought it would.

Lots of beautiful birds there, too. But I found this one funny. Just the right placement.

Running into people that did you dirt, or sat idly by and watched people steamroll you, going up to them with a nice smile and gush "Hiiii how are you!!!" The look of 'deer caught in headlights' look is so funny. Especially the nicer you are. Then there is the ~~bragging~~ discussing of how well you are doing in spite of previous attempts at sandbagging.

And the offhand dismissal of the person going on and on about someone else. I summed it up beautifully. "I got myself a wonderful Equatorial mount, dual axis motor drive telescope, and that will last for a long time. 3 hours or so with so and so..*shrug* I can live without it." Found out again that A.C. is still managing to squeeze in people who she considers worthies, or no threat to her. No suprise, really, but I feel sorry for her, I truly do.
