A grafitti artist decided to put an editorial on a sign in China Town in Melbourne. I think this sums it up perfectly )

It has to do with the limestone plinths, that used to number 12. Some of them were beaten down by the ocean, hence my 12,11, 10 etc.

This photograph isn't blurry, neither is the lens foggy. The weather it's self was misty, and it added an ethereal look to everything.

The 'Apostles',no matter what their numbers )

And I am totally knackered.

Seems I took the calmative at the perfect time. Was zoning out just before boarding, and zonked out less than 5 minutes after takeoff, and woke up when coming in for a landing.   Had to wait around in the airport because they only had one poor mook unloading the 'oversized/restricted' luggage.  He was run ragged.

Got a cab, station wagon variety and got home pretty darned smoothly.

Alan met us at the door, and helped to haul our luggage into the house.  Cats proceeded to go totally insane.  Keito has just calmed down. Affy on the other hand might end up getting boarded the next time we go anywhere.  He 'voiced' his displeasure at our absense, and I have just finished cleaning the stack of DVDs he did said 'voicing'.

Will unpack suitcase tomorrow, and get the laundry done.  Pardon me while I go kick off my shoes and prop my feets up.

In the hotel reception area, waiting for the cab to take us to the airport in about an hour. I will give myself calmative in about 30 minutes to forestall panic attack on the plane.

Had a great time here. Met lots of good people at the Trad Archery Tourney. And bonus, met [livejournal.com profile] thatgothgrrl and her partner. Now those are two people we could easily hang with and cause all sorts of mischief.

Visited the Melbourne Zoo, and took lots of pictures. To the point of killing the camera battery! Many pretty animules and birds. Want to take the snow leopard home!!

I am so much more tired than I have ever been in my life, including bootcamp! Chances are I will sleep most of tomorrow. Even [livejournal.com profile] aikidomayland says he wants to 'call in dead'. heh

Went to see the Twelve, err Eleven, umm Ten, ahhh Nine, Eight Aspostles. Very nice trip, and a spectacular sight to see. Many pictures were taken, but will have to wait until I return home to upload them all. Might have a WiFi connection here, but not going to task it by uploading many megs of pictures. I will pick and choose. Even got a few humorous ones too.

Well, today it's the Melbourne Zoo. Camera battery fully charged (almost disaster for Apostle trip, as I had forgotten to do so the night before.) mostly packed, and check out is at 11am.
