Listening to the Voices in My Head

Remember to mark the date you have started wearing a new pair of contacts, as even though these aren't dailies, they do have a 'use by' date.

I prefer to wear my contacts.... however, they don't allow me to have clear up close to arms reach vision (I have to lean waaaaay back to even read this when I am wearing my contacts). So, I got myself a pair of those magnifying eyeglasses to wear (1x magnification), small enough that they pretty much perch on the halfway down my nose, so I can look over them for distance viewing. They will be useful for reading, photo/graphics work, and other up close tasks.

Since I got contacts so I wouldn't have to remember to lug glasses around, I will in all probability get the 'odd duck' contacts next time. One lens for up close to be worn at the same time the other eye uses a distance lens. Might take time to get used to, but I am adaptable.
