I have a new toy!
Aug. 30th, 2006 04:27 pmIt's not a toy, not really. Put my Mantis E-Bike together. Damned instructions were in "Engrish" which made for an interesting assembly. Put helmet on, and took it out for a quick test ride around the street. It makes those hills much easier to deal with now. Have to remember not to take corners too sharply, or I end up scraping the pedals onto the road. Also have to remember to release the right grip, as it's the throttle, when get I dismount.
On a funny aside, I got my AcerBeast back. All the techs are befuddled as to why it has the bios setting it has, and there is nothing they can do to change it. Kevin said "the geniuses have had enough headaches and fun with it." Must recharge it to make sure it's ready for the trip. Fun fun, not.
