Been reading the not so shocking stories coming out of New Orleans. What does the gov't and law enforcement expect trapped people to do? Sit around twiddling their thumbs, while they starve or die of dysentery?  So friggin' what that a cheap assed waterlogged TV was swiped from a flooded store? What frigging use is it, other than a door stop? Stop filming people taking food from supermarkets, and start making food drops instead. Bring the troops home and stop shoveling more money into this illegal war. How many more Americans have to die before the Bush Regime gets their collective heads out of each others asses?

*sigh* Another day of playing catch up

It's not so much the household chores I mind, it's how when I have the flu, I cringe to think of the dirty clothes, kitchen, floors. Don't get me wrong, I am not a Donna Reed, but when the supposed sentient males in the house don't bother with basic tidying, I want to clean one small space for me, and let them sit in swill. *sigh*  But that would only mean even more assbusting chores for me afterwards.

It seems so trivial compared to what is going on in the world, but dusting and cleaning when one is doing ones best imitation of trying to cough a lung up, it's a big thing at the time.

Tribal Salon

We are having a gathering of all of our students from all our classes tonight, + guests.  All prepped and ready to go. Probably scare the mundanes walking around, but you know, it's going to be fun.

I liked a comment I heard directed at us. "Yeah, that other group dances ok, but you guys put on a great show!".  Then we were told that we didn't look so stone faced and we actually look like we are having fun. There were a few other differences told to me, but hey, don't want to give up all our trade secrets.;)
