Been reading the not so shocking stories coming out of New Orleans. What does the gov't and law enforcement expect trapped people to do? Sit around twiddling their thumbs, while they starve or die of dysentery? So friggin' what that a cheap assed waterlogged TV was swiped from a flooded store? What frigging use is it, other than a door stop? Stop filming people taking food from supermarkets, and start making food drops instead. Bring the troops home and stop shoveling more money into this illegal war. How many more Americans have to die before the Bush Regime gets their collective heads out of each others asses?

Date: 2005-09-02 07:20 am (UTC)I agree totally...
This has become a media circus, and Bush finally cut his vacation short 2 days after the storm.
One of my very good friends Jason Gowers flew down there yesterday. He works as a disater specialist for the Red Cross. I'll let you know what he tells me as to the conditions down there. Hopefully he'll have cell phone service, otherwise I won't see him for 2 weeks.
