*sheepish grin* Oops?
Dec. 1st, 2005 02:36 pmI went birthday and holiday shopping yesterday with my son. Had to get something for
_meegan_'s birthday, and some new breeches for the ever growing teenager. Damn, when will he stop getting longer? I get crick in my neck talking to him.
Because I usually go shopping on Tuesdays, I got a bit off on what day of the week it was. Forgot we had to teach the grade 7s today because I thought it was Wednesday, instead of Thursday.
_meegan_ showed up, and the lightbulb went off in my head. Got ready in under two minutes. These kids did so well. The math teacher there was a bit of a thickwit. Kept saying the kids were doing things wrong as they were watching M all the time, instead of mugging at the audience. He had to be told several times by the both of us that is how it's done.
So, he kept on and on with this theme, and left when we started the dance class. I told the girls "He is an academic teacher, and does that job well. He is not a dance teacher, so dont worry about what he critisises, and to listen to us instead." Things went fabulous. We have been invited to attend the assembly next week to 'see our hard work."
