900-130mm telescope, and a DSE Webcam adapted for astrophotograpy.Light Blue Filter, 4000+stacked images from avi capture.

I am hoping that with a bit of patience, I will use one of the barlow lenses to get a larger image, with less exposure, and hopefully capture some of the details I see through the telescope.

Kudos to [livejournal.com profile] aikidomayland for being my 'back' and bringing the telescope out and then back into the house.

Got some great viewing of Saturn tonight. Also checked out some star fields, and was totally amazed at how many more stars/star clusters I could see with this telescope. I am very tempted to drag out this laptop, and the webcam and get some imaging, but I know I would be unable to move tomorrow if I did that. I will get some imaging done, but not tonight. Gonna go look some more. o.o Wow.

With the help of my son, Alan, and my Un-Son, Robin, I have my telescope outside, aimed towards the North Eastern skies, to get a good viewing of Saturn. No video or images, though, because I really don't think my back could tolerate setting up computer, table etc etc. IF I ever manage to get a longer cord for the motor drives, I could get images while sitting right here. :D
