Wandering in Fremantle
May. 21st, 2006 05:40 pmDecided that after living here for 6 years, I would play the tourist for a short while, and get some pictures and post them. I will do a few posts, as to not have one huge honkin' photo array for anyone to have to wade through.

Busy busy day

_meegan_ to make a 'Wall of Memories' for her. Only had to fill the black ink tank once. I love my printer. It's 'smart' enough to tell there are six photographs being scanned at once, and I can to a batch save of the groups. Trimmed the finished products, and pegged them up.
Also spent a goodly portion of the day trying to find a Divx player for my VOQ. I managed to find one, The Core Pocket Media Player, a free open source program, to use and it seems to be functional. I will bench test it, and if it performs well, they will get donation from me.
Eyes are a bit twitchy, but I think that has to do with the long haul in front of the computer screen, andaikidomayland cleaning and sweeping up the back yard today. Oh well, Early to sleep, give eyes a good long time to rest up.

I have been using the new Canon PIXMA printer to print pictures. I used the 'sample' pack of paper that came with the printer and was so impressed, I ran a few more off with different paper types (ie glossy, matt finish) to see the results. Wow. The digital age has really made great progress.
Clouds and the Moon
Oct. 15th, 2005 09:50 pmWith the almost full moon, it is extremely bright. The clouds gave the evening a rather ethereal feel and appearance, so I whipped out my trusty Kodak DC3200 and got some pictures of the clouds obscuring the moon, and it's reappearance.
