The place we went to look at was over 3 times the space we needed so we gave it a pass. Realtor will be keeping eye out on something more in line with what we said we are looking for.

Put the replacement EQ mount on the tripod, and it works. I took the adjustment arms off the faulty to see if two short ones, or two long ones will be easier to use. Have to get a mounting plate fabricated, but that shouldn't be too difficult.

The replacement EQ3 mount has arrived. It appears to be in good condition. Now, all I will have to do is get a sent of rings, a mounting plate and an 'optical tube assembly' (telescope body) and I am ready to rock and roll with that one. I think that mount will be good for taking pics of close planetary bodies as it will only have the RA motor drive only.

Going to be heading out the afternoon to check out places to lease for studio. We have come so far, that we are actually in need of this now. So far, everything we have spotted is either too big, too small, or not quite centrally located enough. We don't want our current students to have to travel too far to get there. No more than the furthest we have to go to reach them would be prime.
