Urban vs Urban
Feb. 7th, 2007 09:10 amKeith Urban, country singer, is suing Keith Urban, artist, claiming trademark infringement. To me this is once again a singer/performer/actor who thinks too much of himself.
If you go to keithurban.com, it's obvious it is not the country singers site, as it clearly states it's about art, oil paintings etc etc. It in no way says/sells/claims to be any part of Keith Urban the singer. BUT Urban, whose Web address is keithurban.net, argues that the New Jersey man is misleading people (yeah, by using his own name, which happens to also be Keith Urban) into believing the Web site belongs to him and is selling merchandise as if it were produced or endorsed by him, even though it has nothing even mentioning Urban the singer. Anyone with an I.Q. above a shoehorn will know it's not the singer's site.
Keith Urban the singer is a tool with delusions of grandeur.
