Olbermann’s Special Comment: It is not the Democrats whose inaction in the face of the enemy you fear (Video and transcript.)
Olbermann: And lastly tonight, a Special Comment, about — lying. While the leadership in Congress has self-destructed over the revelations of an unmatched, and unrelieved, march through a cesspool… While the leadership inside the White House has self-destructed over the revelations of a book with a glowing red cover…
The President of the United States — unbowed, undeterred, and unconnected to reality — has continued his extraordinary trek through our country rooting out the enemies of freedom: The Democrats.

But sometimes, it needs to be done.
Keith Olbermann opened a letter, and there was a white powdery substance in it. He did what everyone has been told to do, called 911. Hazmat arrived, as did the police. KO was put in a decontamination shower there, the substance in the envelope was carefully gathered and contained. KO was then, as protocol dictates, taken to the hospital for complete examination and given a prescription for a strong antibiotic, one given to anyone suspected of being exposed to anthrax.
( So, what has my knickers in a twist? A very stupid (at the very best) or downright nasty (more likely) 'journalist', who decided to make light of the event. )

Sep. 19th, 2006 09:47 amOlbermann: “The President of the United States owes this country an apology”
And then I heard this interesting tidbit: Bill Maher was given a list of 'acceptable subjects' for his "Free Speech" segment. Anyone else spot that contradiction?
