Liberal Party is thumping their chests

Some yokel(shadow minister of something or other) is bitching and deriding Rudd: that since Rudd has been in office, the cost of gas (petrol) and interest rates have gone up and he has said and done nothing!

Well hully gee, Mr Rudd has no hand in how much the cost of crude is, and the interest hikes were put into action by the former government. But clouding the issue with facts isn't something the liberal party likes.

I have noticed some time before now that there is a certain tendency to expect that, for some inexplicable reason, that if John Howard single-handedly fucked everything up, anyone who replaces him (that is to say, Rudd) must obviously by a God-sent fucking Messiah who will clear everything up with a click of his fucking fingers. If he doesnt? Then I guess we might as well as stuck with Howard. I can only assume that the average person is more addicted to insane dualistic thinking than any sane intelligent educated person would ever fucking suspect.
