Muse of Poetry
Apr. 16th, 2004 03:33 pmHasn't alit upon my shoulder, but has come down with a resounding *THUD*. I thought it was odd that I would grab a book and start scribbling lines that popped into my head, then make some sort of sense of them. Turns out that is what a lot of writers do. I have doodles, scribbles and a few nonsequiturs on the pages, sometimes crossed out, but sometimes used.
Some people think that writing poetry is nothing more than stringing words that rhyme together. If only it were that easy.
