A dancers' work is never done
Apr. 14th, 2004 03:46 pmHad a meeting with the director of the Meeting Place in Fremantle to get some last minute details taken care of before the start of the class next month. Seems there has been a lot of calls about the class. :)
On the way home, we stopped in at one of our favorite shops, and chatted with the owner. She is such a nice lady. Just as we were getting ready to leave, a very nice young lady comes in. Seems she is trying to finance her way over to Canada for a workstudy program, and is having a fundraising event. She asked if we would perform there. She sheepishly said "I can't pay you..." and both Meegan and I told her we have no problem doing fundraisers for a good cause, and hers was such. So, we have a performance to prepare for yet again. :)
It seems the more we do, the more we are doing afterwards. Go us. :)
