Back after the A/B/B weekend

anysiaAs enjoyable, and fun our a/b/b weekend was away from home, it's good to be back. Of course being back entails a mountain of laundry, placating two slightly psychotic 'how dare you leave me!' cats, and getting caught up with other things.
Prepped the AC as it's supposed to be another 37+ day today. aikidomayland doesn't like us using the air conditioner. He tends to forget that he is in an environmentally controlled, therefore comfortable, office all day, and drives home in an air conditioned car, whereas we at home have to deal with the heat. It wouldn't be so bad if the hot was a slow build up, but from 28 one day, to 38 the next is a bit of a swelter.
