anysiaQuantum Leap meets 7 days, but without the cool machines or Al.
Overall, not too bad. Man falls asleep, and wakes up to find it 8 yrs earlier. He sees someone, who obviously means something to him. He 'wakes up' to find himself back where he belongs, so pretty much thinks he had dreamed the whole thing. He tells his wife about the 'strange dream', and you find out the someone was his fiancee who had died in plane crash. Still, he thinks it was a vivid dream.
Until it happens again. And this time, he saves someones' life. This time he was missing for 2 days in 'real time'. Family and friends think he has a drinking/gambling/drug problem, because of course he would have to be, and just making this stuff up.
Then he does something to prove he isn't nuts or a druggie. He brings camera phone with him. The cell phone network doesn't work, but the camera feature does. Turns out the guy whose life he saved, ends up murdering his wife and son because she wants a divorce. He fixes that. And is able to show his cop brother the changes he made via movie on camera phone.
He sees his fiancee again during one of the back trips... but sees her Twice in the same building, same floor, at the same time. She appears to be another time tripper (maybe) as she says "One of them shouldn't be there."
He also proved to his wife that he wasn't nuts, but telling the truth. During one of the back in time trips, he gets a tool box, puts a current newspaper, and the anniversary diamond ring he got for his wife in it, and buries it at what will be dead center in their patio... in 7 years. Imagine the look on her face when he starts using slege hammer to dig up their patio, and shows her he is telling the truth.
