Up too early and
Apr. 4th, 2004 09:09 amUsing it. I got up, answered business emails, and then decided to get domestic and fix my 'boys' some pancakes for breakfast. Too bad I forgot that Wing had to take the aikido class as his sensei is in Europe right now. Oops. He got to snack on one before heading out,and I will keep them warm in the oven for him.
I got asked a few times about my tattoos. What made me decide on the designs, why does that one looks sort of egyptian but not, etc etc.
A quick summation:
The lower one is a depiction of a sunrise, both of Native American and Aztec origin.
The upper one is a depiction of a solar eclipse, and it's design is a melding of the Native American and Eqyptian version. Its' dark non detailed design is NA, but the soft curves to the wings is the Egyptian influence. I didn't like the stark lines and angles of the NA one, as it was too reminiscient of a Nazi symbol durring WWII, and because it was just too harsh. So, I combined the two. I did research it quite carefully before coming up with this particular design.
So there is the "Secret of the Tattoos". :) Nuff said.
