Operation Kitteh DOWN

Loki is home now. He isn't too happy with being confined to one small room, but it's for his own safety. To make things easier on him, aikidomayland got him a "Pet Down", comfy pad that will be soft and slowly warms to body temperature. According to Jarrad, everyone had a cuddle with him at the vets. I just hope this forced confinement doesn't change his disposition.

Got some pain medication, and some antibiotics to prevent infection.

He doesn't like me too much right now




Finally gave up and fell asleep.

He will be going in for weekly check ups until the pins are removed. Dr Miller said that since he is young, the fracture should heal in 4 weeks, whereas 6 to 8 weeks for adult cats.

He keeps overdoing and hurting his leg. It won't break again, but it will hurt like a mutha! Trying to keep him calm and quiet.
