A dancers work is never done
Mar. 29th, 2004 03:40 pmHave been answering thank you notes to all the well wishers from Relay For Life performance, and from ones that visited site afterwards. :) Also been catching up on the laundry and other domestic things that kind of fell by the wayside in the flurry of getting ready for said performance. Took a wee bit of a breather to light some jasmine candles and to put some of the perfume we created into the oil burner. Mmmm that smells so nice, mild fragrance of water lilies without the pond smell.
I waited to watch the video until Meegan got here. I didn't think it would be fair to get a jump start on the viewing. I gotta say it.. we are SHARP! Damn did it look good. Even the part where I had to toss a fallen tassel out into the crowd so we wouldnt' step or slide on it was slick and smooth. I missed a turn, but smoothly got back into the dance without a hitch. We could hear the crowds reaction on the video quite clearly. "Well done girls!".. "Marvelous!" were some of the comments on the video.

Date: 2004-03-29 10:48 am (UTC)I danced last year for the one here, and did a luminaria (sp) for George Abdo's sister. I plan to do the Relay this year, don't know if I'll be dancing or not.
