I can't run. The answering machine picks up in 7 rings. If I am at the back of the house, the answering machine picks up before I can get to the phone. SAY SOMETHING as my hand is reaching for as the outgoing message is played. Do not hang up.
Since my mobile phone is at the OTHER end of the house, typically in my bedroom with my handbag, you get the "Unable to take your call" message after 6 rings (don't blame me, blame Telstra.) If you call the landline and the answering machine picks up, you hang up, then immediately call my cell/mobile phone, I can't get to it in time because..
