BSG, Dresden Files and Heroes
Jan. 30th, 2007 03:09 pmIt shouldn't be necessary, but spoilers below the cuts.
Battlestar Galactica: So many questions answered but some many new ones. Still don't know if Baltar is Cylon or not. All we know is he doesn't think he is. What did he day to Gaeta that made Gaeta try to kill him? Adama and Madam President tend to forget that for all his self-serving and self preservation, Baltar is not stupid.
Dresden Files: This series (yeah, only two episodes so far) is a cut above a lot of new shows. This week, we find out just how far Dresden will go to save a friend, even to the point of putting himself in danger by using 'the black arts'. Funny scene, when Bob suggests he look up the frequency of the ghost of the murdered daughter of a shop owner, and 'get to know her'. He asks how old, and looks a bit icked out when he is told she was only 17 years old.
Heroes: Peter chases after "The Invisible Man" (nice to see "The Doctor" gainfully employed) to try to find a way to prevent what is foreseen as his future death by nuclear explosion. At least Peter has someone to try to help him control his "empathic" abilities.
Matt and his wife try to rebuild their wreck of a marriage, and also play around with his telepathic gift.
Clair rebuilds her relationship with Zack, and it's working. And she tries to get information and help from the "only mute when around Clair's dad" yet unnamed Haitian. And Clair is getting good at keeping things from her father, as he is a bit suspicious as to whether she is as 'amnesia-ated" (yes, I know I made that word up) as she pretends to be. She and Zack also hunt down who her real parents are, and she hits the jackpot and finds her mom.
Someone trying to bribe/coerce Hiro and Ando to go back to Tokyo. Someone with "true power".... Ooooo, a baddie? No, it's his FATHER! (Hellooooo George Takei!!) When will Hiro get his sword???? The painting showed him with a FULL blade sword, fighting a T-Rex.
Nikki tries to warn the doctors and nurses at the psychiatric hospital to keep her drugged, to keep Jessica under control. Ah, but they just think she is insane. D.L. realises just how much he and Micah need Nikki. She talks him out of busting her out of the rubber room. Micah decides to use his unique abilities with machines to get some cash from an ATM. Nikki also accepts the psychiatrists offer to integrate/get rid of Jessica.
