I finally got a picture of the bird that bedevils Affy!

And here he be in all his cheeky, aggressive glory! Wagtail! This isn't a big bird, but when this one and it's mate decide Affy should go away, he doesn't stand a chance. One will strafe him, while the other goes and pecks him in the head or rump. This isn't a big bird, only about 3 inch body with 3 inch tail.

Yes, Wagtails are beautiful. And they are very aggressive. I have seen them take on ravens and win. :D

Hey, next time see if you can get a shot of one that's really pissed off (shouldn't be hard, they're so aggro). They fluff up their teeny white eyebrows in an aggression display and it's really cool to watch.

I once was feeding one crumbled stale bread (there was a semi-tame one living around the apartmetn complex I was in) when I accidentally beaned it with a slightly overlarge fragment of crust. That eyebrow flared up so much it looked like the top of its head went white, and it spent a good minute or so scolding me from a nearby balcony.:>
