anysiaDon't call us Poms, say Poms A group of thin-skinned English expats wants the word Pom banned, claiming it is a racial slur on a par with the most appalling insults
For one thing, a couple of the POMS I have met around here are the first ones around here to call me a Yank. That isn't a 'racial' slur anymore than calling them a Pom is a 'racial' slur. Get over yourselves and find something else worthy of complaining about. (rolls eyes)
