What a day

anysiaHotter than the flip side of heaven, and three times as humid.
Got a lot done today. Designed new format for our adverts/posters, and damn do they look good, even if I say so myself. The guy who laminated them for us said he hasn't seen such good colorful work like that from a 'hobbyist'. I chuckled and said thank you. Want to get one of them laminated fullsized. Will have to check pricing for that.
Designed our ad for new edition of magazine. The editor of the magazine wanted to know what professional did the layout and font work. Told her I did. She was most impressed. I have saved us a small fortune due to graphic arts background. She really liked the font used.
Meegan and I went through the new tribal music, and have selected 3 pieces for our upcoming gig. Took us all of 10 minutes. Now all we have to do is learn the music. Then we sat down and carefully watched the new instructional DVD. Man oh man, is that thing a wellspring of information. Will be using some of the new stuff on that, but only if we feel we have learned them well enough for us to do them right. No sloppy halfassed stuff.
Now,I think I will go sit in front of a fan in an attempt not to melt.
