They are alive, and like a contrary pet, or child, they like to do the unexpected, or unbelievable.

Starting about 2-ish months ago, my percolator has been working only intermittently. Sometimes it would brew a perfect pot, other times, no bubbling of water through the spindle at all.

So, I hunt around to find another one (this one lasted 3 yrs, and considering the other brand lasted a year before dying, I figured I would go with the DeLonghi again) Took the better part of another month to find one, and I order it. Be damned if the percolator doesn't start brewing perfect coffee again.

I swear, it knows I have its' replacement on the way.
