All ready to go

anysiaLast class of this term, followed a week off (sort of,we still have the costume workshop next week) and then the start of a new term.
It seems that we might end up running two new classes, on top of the ones we are doing already. It's just growing by leaps and bounds in a most amazing manner.
Ran into a friend of ours. She had seen us perform at the Sirocco Club, and then had seen the old student group at a student hafla, then saw us again, and said the difference was remarkable. We do have the person(s) in back watching the one in front instead of staring off into the crowd or at the floor (a sure sign it's choregraphed) and she said we "added a bit of cheeky fun" into ours. And, even if we use the same music, we never dance it the same way twice. This from a lay person! That made our day a bit nicer.
Been scorchy/humid hot the past few days. My poor cats are 'puddled' on the stone floor, staying as cool as they can. Luckily all the facilities we use for teaching/practicing has air conditioning. No incredible melting dancers. (chuckle)
Off I go to pack the class gear bag, and must not forget the cd I burned. The students are gonna love this. :D
