It ain't easy, being green
Oct. 14th, 2006 05:11 pmSo, I spent the day after pillaging doing some green pillaging. Hit up W.A. Salvage to take advantage of the 30% off everything, and got a new pot, two bags of potting mix (should have gotten 3, but will rectify that tomorrow) and two long rectangular pots. Then hit up Bunnings. Got one basil, one cilantro (aka oregano), lemongrass, cayenne peppers, chili pepper and coriander plants. And the crowning glory, a Tahitian Lime tree.
Tahitian Lime Tree. I picked this one out as it had new growth on it after a recent pruning. Very healthy tree.

From Left to right, Jalapeño Chili plant, cilantro, and some chives I transplanted from the old herb garden. Will be getting some sage tomorrow to fill out the left bed.
2nd tub: Basil, lemongrass, cayenne pepper and coriander

The plant in the foreground is a Lavendar. That is why I need to get some more potting soil. And bonus, the jasmine plant that I thought was dead is growing like a weed. Even has lots of blossoms.
My hands smell of herbs and earth. :)
