But sometimes, kids need a good hollerin' at.

I was riding my bike to the shops to pick up ingredients for eggplant parmesian, and I get attacked by magpies. Luckily I was wearing helmet (I took 4 seriously hard hits), so I just ducked down and just pedaled faster.

On the way back, I got attacked again. So again with the faster pedaling and I laid on the horn to startle the birds away. I spot something I hadn't noticed. There were some kids (young teens on school break) throwing pine cones, rocks and other items at the magpies. I got past the 'attack zone', stopped and really bellowed at the kids "STOP TEASING THE DAMNED BIRDS!" Then I reached for my phone. I hope the rangers got there before they left the park and ripped them a new sized asshole.

I agree.. maybe getting hammered by the 'pies would have taught the mean little shits a lesson.

I am still glad I was wearing bike helmet. I have one small crack, and three dents in it where the magpies struck.
