Aww, it cracked.

One day I have to make me one of those. (Have to get a pan, first though.)

Aww, it cracked.

Yeah, the low fat philly cheesecakes tend to do that. Doesn't happen the regular cream cheese.. But it tastes yummy. *urp*

Gosh, usually a cheesecake photo is something else entirely... and since it was behind a cut, I thought... er... well, nice cheesecake, anyway!

or were you looking for beefcake? *wink*

To our inestimable hostess, I was getting cracks also in the full fat cream cheese cakes - luckily, I was making chocolate ones (in the day when I made that my "signature" contrib to potlucks), which also required a topping of sour cream - which neatly took care of the cracks!

Let me clear that up a bit. When I use lowfat philly, I tend to sweeten it with pureed fruit, and lessen the sugar amount. That is what causes cracks. The first two I made here, with regular, were works of art, but [livejournal.com profile] aikidomayland was worried about how fattening it was. For some odd reason, the idea of just having smaller slices escaped him. *chuckle*
