2nd time lucky?

Going to try to get some decent passport photographs. Unlike last time, i haven't been out on an hot windy archery range for 3+ hours. If they don't work out, I have been checking the US Gov site about what would be acceptable, and will set up the digital camera and do them myself. As shadoutcarver said "You want decent passport. You don't want to be put on no fly list." *shudders thinking about the 1st attempt. Told aikidomayland if I have to use that for my ID for the next 10 yrs, I would really appreciate not looking exhausted, windtossed, and sunburned.

I have "pet names" for the series of photos I've had to take, not just for passports but various i.d., transport cards, etc, inspired by the fact that the photography process often makes one look criminal, and also the news. There's usually a copy kicking around, because they're taken in groups of four, and it's been the rare time that all get used at once, or even within the period I would consider them "good" for use, i.e. 6 months-ish or so. My own personal quirk.

Heh, good idea. I have given up with the local passport photographer, and did m'own. Have to admit, it came pretty darned good.
