My trip to the Le Beau Day Spa
May. 27th, 2006 01:12 pmAlmost 4 hours of pure indulgence at the Le Beau Day Spa. Arrived early to fill out questionnaire about any allergies, surgery etc etc. Then got the tours of what I was having done. 8) Got consult on what I could use on my poor chlorine irritated skin, and how to desensitise it to allergic reactions.
First up, 6 step facial, with facial and head massage. I think I started purring right when the head massage started. Upper back/shoulder/arm massage. Oh joy. Then a snuggle down with warmed blankies in a candlelit room, soothing music. Snoring? who me?? ;)
Off to the pedicure, leg massage in a massaging chair. Fresh cup of coffee to sip. Again, oh purr. Leg massage was just what I needed too. (looks down at pedicured pretty feets) Oh how I missed that, seeing as I can't reach em right now. Scoot off to the manicure table
Didn't' get any acrylic nails, just a pretty manicure. Sam (the therapist) filed em, evened em out, and then proceeded to give them a high gloss polish. It looks soooo nice compared to the chipped nails I have/had from being in the hydro pool three times a week. And they match my pedicure! heh
Off to the relaxation room. Just kicked back, enjoyed the atmosphere, read magazine, filled out opinion form. Headed out, and asked again about what to use for allergic reactive skin. Brought home a jar of what was used during my leg and upper body massage,as it soothed the itchiness, and visibly reduced the irritated skin.
Le Beau Day Spa... the perfect balm for the soul. *insert happy contented sigh*
