Watching an old one, Quatermass and the Pit aka 5 Million Years to Earth. It's an oldie, the FX will probably make you giggle a bit considering what decade they were made in, but the acting is 2nd to none.

Ha! I love that movie! Quatermass and his friend are such cool scientists, and the ending is great -- people die, the city is in flames and everything is fucked up. Definitely not the kind of ending Hollywood would've made.

This is such a great flick. Too bad youngsters only watch flicks with CGI and other FX to be entertained. THere are a few ummm factual errors, like calling the overlapped circles a pentagram/pentacle, but all in all, a most enjoyable movie.

A wonderfully bleak ending , and a genuinely heroic death by the other guy - the plan's gone pear-shaped, he is most definately about to die, and he he is brave enough to look thecreature straight in the eye all the way to the end...
