Inhaling the earthiness of fresh herbs
May. 16th, 2006 03:40 pmToddled a bit outside today. Just checking on the transplanted dranecea, and rosemary plant. The rosemary is growing quickly. Checked the thyme plant and decided to clip a bit of it for tonights dinner. Nothing like freshly harvested herbs in cooking.
Getting on towards cold weather, so am looking forward to making stock pots of soups and stews. I think my vegetarian (vegan if you don't sprinkle any fresh parmesian cheese on it) minestrone would set right tonight.
