Early start today
May. 13th, 2006 06:52 pmJust makes for a crash and burn during the afternoon.
Keito, the Purrrrminator, decided that 5am was a good time for me to get up.
Met up with Ebay seller who lives very close. So close he was amenable to saving us on the postage by meeting us at nearby post office. While waiting, I mailed of a package to
shadoutcarver. With luck, it will get there by next Saturday.
Had to bring my gemstone bracelet into the jeweler. I noticed one of the garnets had fallen out. :( Tam does good work, the same one that resized all my rings for me.
Got the pillage done, and 'restored someones faith in humanity'. On our way in, there was a nice elderly gent collecting coins for blind children. I told him that I would get him on the way out. He sighed, and smiled. I guess he has heard that a lot.
After we were done, I stopped by him again, and his face lit up. He said I had restored his faith in humanity. I guess he gets a lot of people either ignoring him, or promising and not following up. I am sure he had heard "I'll catch you later" before, but not from me.
