The Decider strikes again
May. 1st, 2006 11:30 amPresident Bush has quietly claimed the authority to disobey more than 750 laws enacted since he took office, asserting that he has the power to set aside any statute passed by Congress when it conflicts with his interpretation of the Constitution. Personally, I wouldn't trust him to interpret how to heat water on a stove. And another thing I have noticed about his behavior (and yes, I am sure I am not the only one who has spotted this) is even though he might not (?) be drinking, he is behaving as if he is a drinking alcoholic. That 'choosing to do something, be damned with if it's proven wrong, just keep going, and to hell with the consequences'.
As for his total disregard for the US Constitution, Bill of Rights and other laws: Does the word 'dictator' mean anything to you?
