I have so many peripherals hooked to my poor widdle laptop, I have to use a small fan to keep things from overheating. Some tech guy wanted me to shell out a few hundred dollars for a nitrogen cooled gizmo. My solution: two empty 'Eclipse' mint boxes, and a $10 fan. Works great.
