Want the good news or the bad news?

Bad news, I have another 6 weeks of mind numbing boredom, interspersed with bouts of Hydrotherapy and other PT work.

Good news, on arc of lifting leg while lying flat on back, good leg could go to 90 degree mark without a hitch, glitchy left leg made it to 88 degrees. Limp is caused by weakened calf muscle. Weak calf muscle will be taken care of with the hydrotherapy and PT, and numb/dull areas on leg and foot will go back to normal, and the limp will go away in time.

So, I might go a bit stir crazy, but there is an end in sight.

On a funny aside: if I walk normally, I have a limp. If I do a 3/4 shimmy while walking, the limp goes away, but I do get very interesting looks from passersby.

Yes, Doc was very impressed at just how far the left leg could move. He said it was better than he had hoped for.
