Day one of being home and I feel better already.

aikidomayland popped into medical furniture hire store while I was napping, and got a shower chair, and a 'medical' chair to make things easier on me.

Keito, the wonder kitty, finally came back in, and when he realised the antiseptic scented biped was his wayward human. He started racooning at me and stuck as close to me as possible. Was laying on my back and I feel a paw on either side of a finger, gently padding on it. Feline way of thumbsucking?

Affy made his presence known with a blatant BRAMP (pet me) and flopped on the bed.

Guess the fuzzies missed me. So did the featheries. They raised holy hell when I came through the door.

Still have numbness in the left leg and foot, but it's receeded a bit to slight 'pins'n'needles' in some areas. That means the swelling around the surgical site and nerve root is going down. I might never play the oboe again, but I will dance again.... Oh wait, I don't know how to play the oboe. *chuckle*

Enough of an update for now. Meesa resting well, and taking it slowly.
