Have always had a problem with my Damascus shooting glove. It always felt too tight over the back of my hand and would cause my fingers to get a bit crampy after a while. So, I did some altering of it.
Before: Standard Damascus Glove

After: A slightly hourglass shape for over the back of the hand.

Used some leather cutting needles with my Husqvarna sewing machine. It did work wonderfully
Cut the leather about a half inch from the velcro strap, and stitched in one inch of black band elastic. Folded over the outer edges of the glove and stitched them down, and how I have a custom fitted archery glove.
