Pun of the day yesterday..

While out shooting at the archery range. Two first timers were watching aikidomayland and myself shoot, and noticed that we don't do the proper english/olympic stance when shooting, because we do barebow ( aikidomayland  has the mongolian bow too). After the usual introductins of 'hello, names, pleezedtomeetcha', they asked about our different postures.

 I told them its called "A hunters stance" and I was promptly asked if I hunted bush.  I sadly shook my head and said no "Because that would be treason"

One of them started laughing, and the other asked  "You aren't Canadian, are you?"

how do you define the 'hunter's stance', just out of interest?

More open stance, slightly bent at the hips, not the waist, slight tilt of head, and bow canted over.
