Life Lesson: When you hair is over 3ft long, make sure all the pinky finger sized braids done for performance are undone before washing your hair. Keristing hell,it took 15 minutes to untangle/unbraid the damn thing afterwards!

It's in the normal shampoo section of the shop(eg coles or action).
I can relate all too well to tangled hair , my hair is fine and thick , bloody genetics(thanks mum and dad*frown*)

Date: 2005-10-24 01:13 pm (UTC)Having help care for several headfuls of hair, back in my youth, I can appreciate the work that goes into keeping such in good shape, even without the braiding. The 15 minutes of post-washing work doesn't sound all that much, I've seen worse (and there was the time my sister got her hair entangled in an electric mixer's beaters)
So the earlier photos were pre-performance? It's looking like you rather enjoy this, getting to play with shiny stuff even though an adult, even though there's also a lot of work that goes along with it.

Yup,they were pre-preformance. Getting to play the the shiney stuff brings out the magpie in me. :D
