Dubya is comparing his illegal war in Iraq with World War II.

Let's see:

Country A: A megalomaniacal leader, bent on genocide, and 'racial superiority' invade all countries in Europe, sending millions to their deaths.

Country B: Uhhh, Who was Iraq invading? I forget.

Country A: Massive war machine destroying as it raided though soveriegn countries.

Country B: Uhhh, Who was Iraq invading?  I forget. What weapons of mass destruction?

Country A: Blitz Krieg killed thousands of people with their planes bombing civilian targets.

Country B: Uhhh, Who did Iraq bomb?  I forget.

Anyone beside me see these blatant discrepancies in his comparisons?  I am surprised that the surviving WWII veterans aren't going up in flames over this.

I live with a WWII vet. Believe me, some of them are going up in flames over this. Dad has been cussing the television all day, and several of his buddies came over to help him.

I see some parallels with ww2:
1. Ruthless administration willing to wage war for economic gain
2. Blatant propaganda, severe restriction of freedom of speech, lies, large pro administration rallies
3. Enemies imprisoned in concentration camps without trial
4. Mass hysteria, elimination of collective intelligence, "who's not with us is against us", paranoia
5. Manipulated elections
6. Crackdown on unnationalistic activities, like being gay

There ya go, clouding the issue with unsavory facts. Dubya thinks he is Eisenhower. I think a few rounds of EST would work wonders for his reality check.
