Why is it if someone from the streets is hooked on drugs, he/she is called a junkie/addict and gets jail time if busted for buying or using.

If it's some rock star, or actor, it's labeled 'pill dependency', and they get 'treatment'.

Something not quite fair there.

If you or I got caught with a couple grams of cocaine, we wouldn't get the luxury of 90 day suspended jail sentence, and outpatient treatment.(Kelsey Grammer). We would see hard jail time. Getting extra 'scripts by lying, again, jail time.

Its just that crap like this reminds me of "Animal Farm". 'All animals are created equal, but some are more equal than others'. *sigh*
