Rushed to get the telescope/laptop/camera set up before the incoming bad weather. Managed to do that quick fast and in good time. Located Jupiter (man, I wish I could get pictures of what it looks like through an eyepiece, but hey not yet) and set camera up to shoot some decent vid at 60 frames per second. That went well and good (all 4 gigs of it). Lightning starts, I hustle everything indoors in record time.

Start up Registax and it pukes when working with the AVI and ends up scragging it. I don't think I have ever invented such a colorful stream of words before.

Now I will have to wait for about a week for decent viewing night again.

There's still a little more time.
By the end of the month, maybe you can get some pics of the jupiter/venus matchup before jupiter disapears behind the sunfor awhile...

Yeah, I know I will. It's just.. frustrating. Venus is so bright now, and hopefully I can get clear weather and a clear shot with my adaped webcam. :) Geeks Rule. :D
