Inspected by customs, and given the all clear.



Uhh, is this a box, or a Tardis?



It's official.  This is a Tardis.



Ohhhh, THERE it is! Inside the Tardis



&$%%#%$  Ah, there is that bolt!  Ok back to work.



And I did it all by myself!



Spent another 20 or so minutes adjusting the finder scope.  Then, it was time to clear up the packaging.  There was more elastic bands than at a highschool hairbraiding session.  Must repack the tardis errr empty boxes and put them away.

Ohhh, I hope we have a clear night tonight!

Oooo! I'm jealous. I can't tell from pictures - did you get a motorised one?
I know what you're saying about the Tardis....mine came direct from Russia in a similar-sized CRATE! It looked like it was gonna contain weapons or something. Had to sell mine a while back because where I was living I had nowhere permanent to set it up, now I'm in a village and drool every night over the depth of vision I get and it's wasted. Hmmm, must start saving again!

Oh yes. I am waiting for a night where there is no chance of this poor laptop getting caught in a sudden downpour. Last night would have been perfect had there been no clouds, as I had Jupiter and several of it's moons in perfect view. Still need to get accustomed to the EQ mount, as it is touchy as all hell, and being ummmm busty, I have a problem avoiding the right ascension control.
