T is for Tassel

anysiaTodays dance class in a word was great.
I brought in one of my tassel belts, and had each student "try it on" and do a few moves and transitions while wearing it. It was amazing the difference in how they were aware of their hips and how they moved. I think I am going to be bringing 'supplies' for a while until we have a class where we make fat tassels and attach them to belt bases.
Also had discussion on choli/skirt colors. We told them that if what you like is fluro-green for a choli, wear it. Steer clear of the "Barbie" family of colors for skirts, but other than that.. dark blue, green, red, orange.. go for it. Uniformity of look, not uniforms.
We have been getting asked about starting a few evening classes. Have two places in mind, and we are working out the details. Not bad, huh? 2 daytime classes, 2 evening classes and a practice get together session during the week. Guess Meegan and I are doing something right. (happy grin)
